翻訳と辞書　辞書検索 [ 開発暫定版 ] スポンサード リンク Samir Kafity ： ウィキペディア英語版 Samir Kafity The Rt Rev Samir Hanna Kaffity (born 21 September 1933) was an Anglican Bishop〔(Encyclopaedia of the Palestinian Problem )〕 in the last quarter of the 20th century. He was educated at the American University of Beirut 〔Who's Who 2008: London, A & C Black, 2008 ISBN 978-0-7136-8555-8〕 and ordained in 1958. He was Parish Priest to the Palestinian congregation at St. George's Cathedral, Jerusalem and then held further incumbencies at St Andrew’s Ramallah, St Peter’s, Bir Zeit,〔Crockford's Clerical Directory Lambeth, Church House, 1975 ISBN 0-19-200008-X〕 then All Saints, Beirut. From 1977 he was a Lecturer at Birzeit University and then Archdeacon of Jerusalem. In 1982 he became Coadjutor Bishop of Jerusalem and two years later the Anglican Bishop in Jerusalem.〔(Diocesan web-site )〕 Between 1984 and 1998, Bishop Kaffity was the second Palestinian Arab bishop. He served two five-year terms as the Provincial President-Bishop and Primate. Since 1998 he has been Bishop-in-Residence at St Bartholomew’s Episcopal Church, Poway.
